Early in my career, I took dozens of certification exams from Cisco, Microsoft, etc. Previously, I had been making flash cards by hand for memorization and found it to be very helpful, so it seemed like a great excuse to me to learn how to create a website. After using it for 25 years, I have added over 8,200 questions and answers.
Tech:
HTML, CSS, and PHP. Only 16 tables in MySQL. The question selection algorithm incorporates question priority and past responses. Serverless hosting on AWS with ECS, Fargate, Aurora Serverless, CloudFront, ALB, and ACM. Google authentication using OAuth 2.0.
